I've never seen so much snow!!!!!

This was the last thing I saw before I went to bed last night.

This is what I woke up to this morning... 4 feet of snow!

Here's my husband making his way out to the Rams to make sure they are not buried!  Thank goodness they were ok, the snow is over their heads!

  1. we were supposed to be hit with a storm ourselves, however it seems to have passed us by....we'll see what tomorrow brings....but for Canada.....we normally expect snow anyways!

  2. Incredible! I'm glad the rams are OK!!!

We have seen very little snow this year - but March & April are our "big snow" months. Stay warm!!!

  3. Oh, Kim! You DO have a LOT of snow!!! We've only had about a foot here! You asked where we are located when you posted on my blog - north central PA. It must be so difficult caring for animals in the middle of all of this! We love the beauty and the peace and the slowing down of it, but not for people like you who have so much at stake!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today and for taking the time to post. I hope you will come back!

    Blessings,
    Diane

  5. All I can think of to say is Oh My Gosh! I'm glad Corn-Dog and the other boys were okay. How long does it take to melt 4 ft. of snow? I hope your house is on high ground, your pictures look like you might safe if it melts slowly. I'll be thinking of you and counting my blessings, only about 10" here.

  6. It must be quite a worry when you have livestock. I hope all your animals are alright. I do love snow, but perhaps this is a case of too much of a good thing, eh? Can you still get out and about, to the shops etc? Or are you well and truly snowed in?

  7. Hi Kimberly! Your place looks like mine did a week ago. We had about four feet, but it took two blizzards to get that much snow. We had what was described as a snow hurricane on Friday but but that was only a meager 8 inches. I hadn't thought of it, but I guess this weather is downright dangerous for the critters! I'm so glad they came through the storm okay. Hope your week is a good one. At least you've recovered from your illness. I'm just getting started with it today! Thanks so much for visiting Comfort Cottage today and taking the time to leave a comment! Terri

  8. Hi sweetie!

thanks for joining in our HUGE vintage Yaya give-a-way tonight! The angel you show on your header is the same one I had in my store and truly hoped I would get to keep her for awhile...but, alas she sold as soon as I put her out! :) So, I see we have a lot of the same love of beautiful treasures! :)

  9. I had heard on the news about the snow up your way - wow! the pics make it real for me... Thank you for visiting my blog. I enjoyed reading about your farm and plans for the Sheep's Nest. We are planning to start raising sheep next year - but ours will be "hair sheep" - they are all the rage with farmers in our area. No shearing required!
