What is the Sheep's Nest?

"The Sheep's Nest" is a charming little English Cottage nestled in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains. My husband and I visited England in 2009 and were so inspired by the cottages that we decided to build our own here in upstate NY. Here you will find Country French Embellishments for your home. A blend of old and new with a touch of European elegance. Come visit us and have a cup of tea, or nestle in at home and enjoy us here on the web.

Welcome and Cheers!

We are Getting Closer!!!!

Well the hustle and bustle of the Summer is gone.  The kids are back to school and the shop is getting closer to completion.  Our new anticipated opening is Spring 2011.  Which will actually give me the winter months to settle in and get things set up.

We still haven't settled on a front door yet, I am still pushing for that arched top door with the speak easy!  The next major projects will be stain etching the concrete floor, sheetrocking downstairs walls, and faux finishing walls.

Now that summer is done I hope to catch up on my blogging and get started on a website.
